Dai Williams is the Technology Angel, specialising in outsourced web development. Since 2000 he has been helping designers succeed in the more complex areas of web development.
Dai is not a web designer. He focusses on working alongside designers to help make their projects come to life. Whether you are a start out company or a design agency without the skills in house, Dai can give you the confidence to take on more ambitious and lucrative contracts while allowing you to focus on what you do best.
Based in Ilkeston (near Nottingham), in the heart of the Midlands, Dai delivers to clients throughout the UK, and overseas.

I guess it was inevitable that Dai would end up working in computers, as he comes from a hereditary line of tech heads going back to his Grandfather Professor Sir Freddie Williams who, as well as contributing significantly to the development of radar during World War II, also pioneered the computer revolution at Manchester University in June 1948 when he built the Manchester Mark 1 computer also known as "Baby" and ran the world's first stored programme which was then called the "Williams Tube" (and more recently the Williams-Kilburn Tube) - but more about his Grandfather here
Dai has over 16 years experience in the IT industry, more than 12 of them in web development. After graduating from Cambridge University , Dai worked for 6 years in a large corporate IT services company as a mainframe and then PC programmer. In 1999 Dai went freelance, providing web development services directly to corporate clients and indirectly working with numerous design agencies. Highly skilled in a wide range of web languages and platforms including PHP, ASP, . NET , Cold Fusion and Perl, Dai now leads a team of skilled developers who specialise in hard-core web development in partnership with design companies. As well as development, Dai provides consultancy services to a number of clients, from technology selection through code review and project planning. Dai has a strong focus on understanding and meeting client requirements which has been a large factor in the growth of his business.
